Content-Based Sites A content-based site is a site that makes its money from selling advertising space, affiliate links, etc. So if you have a site about sailing, you would write blog posts about your sailing experiences, write article answering people's sailing questions, etc. If you were consistent with this for a few months, you would create a following in the sailing community and you'd get steady (and FREE) traffic from Google, Yahoo and MSN. We will show you ways to make money off of this traffic with ad units, affiliate reviews, etc. It's always recommended that you pick a niche that you like and have interest in as your first project. The reason is that if you don't care about the subject of your site, you are a lot less likely to be persistent with it! A big part of success is having the persistence to do what this course teaches you to do!
